The new course undertaken by the company, given the particular attention paid to Research and Development and the Environment, led to the acquisition of a corporate partner, Poli4Life S.r.l., producer of an innovative natural polyphenolic cocktail, and to choose to base the production activity in Umbria.

A team of experts is constantly working to ensure the creation of products characterized by high standards of efficacy and safety, as the result of scrupulous studies and active participation in European research projects.

The innovative goals recently achieved were:

  • the development of selective release systems of the active ingredients that allow the products to act selectively on the different types of skin and hair, thus giving the best possible benefit in the shortest possible time;
  • the creation of specific lines of products containing “Poli4Liquid“, a precious natural green cocktail of polyphenols extracted in Umbria from the Oil Vegetation Waters, of which MAVI Biotech holds the exclusive use, which is able to protect and improve the natural skin and hair defense system against damages caused by environmental pollutants.

Ideal for all skin types, even the most sensitive and delicate, MAVI Biotech offers specific dermocosmetic lines for cleansing, hydration and protection of body and hair with the aim of improving their natural defenses, normalizing common alterations and prolong their vitality.

RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

The objective in the creation of MAVI Biotech dermocosmetics is the “think green” and the “circular economy” which, in the dermocosmetics field, aim not only to protect the skin but also the environmental ecosystem.

The production phases consists of:

  • processing cycles with low environmental impact (less water consumption, less CO2 emissions)
  • formulations containing also active ingredients that revalue and ennoble food waste (Poli4Liquid = olives and olive leaves)
  • packaging in primary containers only, sporadically associated with secondary containers made of recycled paper (FSC*)

*The non-governmental Forest Stewardship Council identifies products containing wood from forests managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.

The body cleansing lines are 3 and are designed to meet the needs of all skin types: normal, sensitive, problematic.

AQUA: for normal skin and to prevent and counteract fungal-bacterial aggressions.

NORMOGEN: for skin intolerant to common soaps and cleansers.

AGENO: for intimate hygiene and well-being.

HAIR CARE

The lines created for the effective treatment of the most common alterations affecting hair and scalp of women and men are 2.

NORMOGEN: for specific cleansing of normal hair, oily hair and hair with dandruff.

TRICOESSE: for cleansing and treatment of fragile hair and hair loss.

SKIN CARE

IDROXIN: for preventing and reducing skin dehydration and the consequent appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

BIOLIVOIL: for cleansing and treatment of dry and sensitive skin and for those who love natural treatments.

BIOSOLAIRE: for protecting in a global way from UV rays and the damages deriving from sun exposure

AQUA

It is the body line designed to meet the cleansing needs of all skin types, from the most sensitive to skin prone to fungal-microbial aggressions.

Low in surfactants and free of parabens, AQUA gently cleanses restoring the correct skin surface hydrolipidic film, thus avoiding the “rebound sensation of dry skin” often caused by common detergents.

Enriched with a natural prebiotic of vegetal origin, rich in lactobacilli and natural moisturizing factors, AQUA helps to strengthen the protective skin barrier by balancing the natural microbial flora and inhibiting the proliferation of germs and bacteria.

NORMOGEN

It is the line designed to gently cleanse the skin of face and small areas intolerant to common cleansers and soaps.

Free of parabens, colourings, silicones and fats of animal origin, due to the presence of vegetable surfactants associated with hyaluronic acid, Normogen perfectly removes all impurities restoring with immediate effect the correct hydration level of the stratum corneum while minimizing any type of  “after cleansing” reactivity: itching, redness, dehydration, flaking.

With hypoallergenic fragrance, due to its characteristics Normogen is ideal for the most delicate skin also.

NORMOGEN

It is the line of shampoo formulated to cleanse selectively different types of hair and scalp normalizing common alterations due to various causes.

With delicate surfactants and parabens free, Normogen is enriched with vitamin B5 to strengthen hair stem and promote hair keratinization, and wheat peptides to restore the proper hydrolipidic balance of scalp and hair making them soft and easy to comb.

TRICOESSE

It is an effective and safe three-phase treatment consisting of a shampoo, a lotion and a food supplement, helpful to prevent hair loss due to endogenous factors (androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata) and exogenous factors (temporary effluvium from stress of various origins).

The particular formulations make use of the proven hair loss effectiveness of the active complex Serenoa repens-biotin-panthenol that, acting at several levels and in synergy with other specific compounds, stimulates the scalp microcirculation, improves the quality of keratin structures and extends the life cycle of the hair preventing premature weakening, thinning and subsequent fall.

Used for no less than 3 months, TRICOESSE treatment makes the hair more resistant, thicker and voluminous, solving the problem at its root.

BIOLIVOIL

It’s a particular natural line formulated with extra virgin olive oil, hyaluronic acid and Poli4Liquid, a precious concentrate of polyphenols extracted from Italian extra-virgin olive oil and leaves.

Thanks to special processing techniques, MAVI Biotech research laboratories have developed the innovative slow releasing complex polyphenols-hyaluronic acid that can wrap skin and hair in an invisible biofilm helpful to protect them from oxidative damage and to improve their resistance to environmental pollutants.

Free of parabens and silicones, with its characteristic amber colour due to the high concentration of olive oil and polyphenols, BIOLIVOIL is the line also suitable for the most sensitive skin also.

AGENO

It is the specific line for the intimate hygiene indicated to prevent and counteract the onset of irritative phenomena of various origins and to slowdown the aging of mucous membranes.

With delicate surfactants and parabens-free, enriched with specific ingredients ĀGENO ensures hydration and protection throughout the day, keeping the microbiome of the intimate mucous membranes in perfect balance.

IDROXIN

It is the innovative and highly performing anti-aging line with “botox-like” activity. Formulated with an active complex of vitamins and slow release hyaluronic acid associated with the hexapeptide “argireline”, IDROXIN fights the signs of skin aging and prevents those related to photoaging and environmental aggressions (smog, electro smog, UV rays, and free radicals).

Thanks to active ingredients selectively dosed and carried into the skin layers, used daily, IDROXIN deeply moisturizes, promotes cellular turnover and improves the production of collagen and elastin, visibly reducing wrinkles and fine lines thus making the skin radiant and younger.

BioSolaire

It is an innovative sun protection line with broad spectrum protection against UVB/UVA designed to protect the skin and reduce all the damages caused by sun exposure (photoaging).

Formulated with the latest generation of sunscreens associated with lutein, it protects also against blue light emissions (wave length 400-540 nanometers)

Enriched with the innovative slow release complex consisting of olive trees polyphenols (Poli4Liquid) linked to hyaluronic acid, BIOSOLAIRE performs a global antiage activity.

This innovative complex, in fact, wraps the skin in an invisible biofilm that protects against photoinduced dehydration, reduces the formation of free radicals main cause of damage to cellular DNA, and improves the natural skin barrier against environmental assaults.

Water resistant, parabens and fragrance free, with the characteristic amber color due to the high concentration of olive trees polyphenols, BIOSOLAIRE is ideal to protect even the most sensitive skin of children.
